Corona-Norco school district expects layoffs next year (The Press-Enterprise)

June 4, 2009 – 10:18 pm The Corona-Norco Unified School District, which avoided most layoffs for the coming school year, fears layoffs are likely the following year if budget projections hold true. "Next year (2010-11), we will have to cut employees if all the budget cuts we've been told to expect" happen, said Sherry Mata, assistant superintendent for business services.
