Possible layoffs criticized (The Leader-Herald)

March 10, 2010 – 7:54 am By JOEL DiTATA The Leader-Herald NORTHVILLE - Nearly 100 Northville area residents, teachers and students showed up at a school board meeting Tuesday to express their concerns about 11 potential teacher layoffs and the way the teachers were notified. Some residents were concerned the notification letters were handed out only three days after voters approved a $3.9 million capital project.
